Almost took out a deer 3 days ago in the rain. Maybe 3 more feet and it would have been in the Grill. Makes 2nd one i almost hit. Other was on my way to Davis WV.
NW-PA and the deer seem to be all over. My Rottweiler was having a stare down with a buck the other day.
Looking at this one myself http://www.westinpublicsafety.com/Push Bumper Elite/PushBumper_Elite.html#Applications
I think i might get that one because i also do volunteer ems so i could use lights in that push bar.

I have an email into them as when looking it up I keep getting this message, waiting to see what they recommend, as I do not want to cut anything as some require

This part is not compatible with 2015 Ford Taurus SHO Sedan 4-Door 3.5L 3496CC 213Cu. In. V6 GAS DOHC Turbocharged.

Will post their reply when I get it.

Added weight..... and for what??? Looks???

Eh, again, not my cup of tea.

Especially on a personal car.

Wanna be the police (& for God's sake, idk y anyone would want to be in this day and age) then go take the test(s) and let the town that hires you, pay for that crap, on THEIR municipally owned cars.

Rant over.

This discussion reminds me of similar discussions on the VehiCROSS board. The bottom line... without a "push bar" mounted you may destroy a grill, hood, headlight, and fender. WITH a bar mounted, and you hit a deer, you destroy all of the above, PLUS the push bar, its mount, and whatever structural part of the vehicle the mount is bolted/welded to. They call it a "push bar" for a reason. It's designed to allow law enforcement to gently push something out of its way, whether that be a car, a dog, a goat, or a person. It will never survive striking a deer at speed. On a civilian vehicle, it's strictly for looks.

FWIW, they looked OK on a VehiCROSS (when modified to fit properly), but I would never put one on my SHO. :)

Eternal Vigilance and good insurance. That is the key.
Had a bull elk that wasn't even in the road reach out and hook an antler in the side of the bra. Interesting sensation while in a corner at about the max velocity attainable on a frosty road. Elk went back over the hill and I used an extra lane or so for a bit. Biggest bull elk I had seen vs little Mitsubishi Cordia was still unfair to the elk and fortunately the bra ripped.

This shoots it all to ****, ohh well

We do not have a bumper for the SHO other than our standard interceptor bumper which does require trimming.
