Looking for input on the PPE catted downpipes with Corsa exhaust. Anyone run this set up without a tune for any amount of time, I would like your feedback on sound, pick up, gas mileage, etc. I am not interested in any other setups. I currently have the Corsa exhaust, and am looking to add the PPE Catted downpipes.

Your responses to this setup would be appreciated.

There is a "Definitive Exhaust Sound" thread over at ecoboostperformanceforum.com, that might be worth your time perusing. But I am sure the members here will provide some exciting clips! :D

I’m running this setup... love it. No drone.

But going with bigger pipes does almost nothing without a tune. This was documented by EPP years ago. The ECU will limit the power output.

I understand its not a major power producer. As long as there is no loss of power, and there is no rasp. Tune may come later.

I'm looking to do the same, but I bought my '13pp used and did not get the tuner with it. It has the exhaust , cai and 3 bar sensor in it so I know it's tuned, but it already runs in the high 12's so.... it would cost $1500 to gain a tenth or two. Love the car to me not worth it. My car has 0 drone at cruising speed and the Sony stereo sounds great so I don't want any drone.

I had this exact setup on my SHO, the PPE DP were good for 2 tenths in the 1/4. No drone. I have a video of it at the track I’ll see if I can post it. My fastest time with tune, Airaid and the exhaust was 12.6.
