There are 2 flex hoses that come out of the reservoir.

The front hose is the smaller in diameter. The rear hose is larger and slightly lower in the reservoir.

Which of these 2 hoses is the supply line to the pump, and subsequently which is the return or recirculation line out of the pump and into the reservoir.

Thanks

The large hose goes down to the pump. The smaller hose is return line from the cooler.

The previous owner added the ATX overflow bottle to that car. The MTX mount for PS reservoir will not work with the ATX overflow. You'll need to get an ATX PS reservoir mount. That's what I did when I added the bottle to my 91+.
