Hey Guys and Gals,

I was just wondering, how do you tell if this sensor is going, other than reading a fault code? My PS fluid is burnt, and have pump wine and the reservoir overflows even though it is not overfilled.

None of that is due to the PSP switch. The switch is there to tell the computer that the PS system is going to place an additional load on the engine so that the computer can compensate.

I'd suggest a compete PS system flush with a possible replacement of all the rubber hoses. Then, you will probably need to clear the air from the pump as air is the most common reason for PS pump whine.
