Alright, my brother has been having issues with his power steering on his 97.
Took it up to Belle Tire to check it out and they said he has 4 rusty hoses and one is leaking (leaking somewhere hot because it's causing the car to smoke). They said $660 to replace all 4 rusty hoses and he told them to just replace the one that is leaking ($300). Get a call 30 minutes later saying "Bad news, it's leaking from the sensor and the part is $500 I suggest taking it to a dealer" and that is all they said. So he went and picked up the car.
Anyone have an idea as to what to do? Is it the Power Steering Pressure Switch? I don't know too much about the V8s so any help is appreciated.
