Well my power antena stoped working and I took it apart and was all ready to install a new mast but the cable with the teeth on it actually broke in half...half is still attached to the mast and I guess half of it is inside the motor.

How do I go about fixing this? Do I have to take the motor apart, take out the broken cable, and then install the new mast?

On my 95 I replaced it with an aftermarket one because the masts were cheaper, but just for fun I took the old one apart, it was really easy to put back together.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll maybe look into buying a fixed mast antenna that is black and getting rid of the power antenna motor and mast all together. It is a pain here in Ontario in the winter...always getting frozen and not going up or down. Plus it is the only piece of chrome on my entire car (well around the Ford badges I guess).

Thanks for the compliment about my car...oh yea it's not an oil stain, it's a water puddle cause I just got finished washing the car before I took the picture. I have to photoshop that spot out, that's the third comment I've got about it! haha
