Will I have to peel out the rubber ones if I get a set of LCA's? I have a set of poly's for my tension rods, strut rods, whatever you want to call them. Was going to start to fight those outta place and noticed the old ones didnt want to move very freely.

Yes, you will. When I did mine, I just clamped the arm in my vise, and then took the propane torch to the bushing. After several seconds, it starts smoking/burning, and is mushy as a marshmallow. Just a little prod with a stick or something, and it drops right out.

Alternately, you could always cut it out with a utility knife....but the fire method is quicker (and funner!). :thumb:

would recommend TPR over poly bushings; Poly's will squeak and drive you crazy; sometimes they also crack...

Well the ones I have are an older set, prothane's. dont know if thers much difference between those and the moogs. But I had people tell me to use a lot of grease where they meet and it shouldnt be too bad. But then again, I dont know. :) I was wondering / worrying about the squeaks.

I have polys for the rear and i have to grease them every few month or more depending on how much driving. I dont drive the car much if it gives you an idea. They do squeak and I want to change them out.

well ****.. lol Ok fine.. you talked me into it. :) just looking at the way they are in there, if I had them on a DD, I think I would get annoyed trying to grease those all the time. You loosen them to grease em? Was always wondering about that too. Thanks for the input !
