I can usually figure out codes pretty well, but I am a bit stumped.

The background: It is a 49 state 91+ car (no EGR), and it is stock other than a Lincoln 80mm and a Ted B chip. I replaced a clutch, motor mounts, y-pipe, O2 sensors, radiator hoses, rod bearings, spindle, lower control arms, and tire rod ends on a club member's car. I found the secondary butterfly solenoid was unplugged, so I did plug it back in if that makes a differenece.

The car did not have a check engine light prior to the clutch job, but now has a check engine light and the following codes:

Code 15 (O) No Keep Alive Memory power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (Memory Test Failure)
(M) KAM (pin 1) was interrupted (was battery disconnected ?) - Is this from the Ted B chip???

Code 67 Park/Neutral circuit fault - PNP
Transmission Manual Lever Position (MLP) sensor circuit - Transmissions
(M) Intermittent Park Neutral Position (PNP) sensor fault - PNP - I have no idea on this one as it is an MTX and I do not think we have a MLP sensor???

Code 84 EGR Vacuum Regulator - Solenoids
EGR cutoff solenoid - Solenoids
EGR Vent solenoid - Solenoids - The car does not have an EGR, so where is this coming from??

Code 91 (R, M) System running lean - Fuel control
Transmission SS 1 circuit/solenoid problem - Transmissions - This could be a bad O2 Sensor, but I am used to seeing the other specific codes???

THe car seems to run ok, but the check engine light means there is something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Code 67: Bypassed clutch interlock sensor if car starts.

Code 91: Did you plug the front o2 sensor back in?

Code 15: LPM

Code 84: Possibly an LPM burned for an ATX and installed in an MTX...that's my best guess.

91 and 92 are the codes for the front sensor. Codes 41 and 42 are for the rear. Maybe you've just had a bunch of rear ones go out on you? :)

I have been there and checked that, but I will check again.

The car does not start if you do not push the clutch in, so that code is still a mystery.

I did plug in the front O2 sensor, but maybe it is bad, or has another problem. The more I think about it, the more I think an O2 sensor problem is kicking the codes, and the other codes are just codes that never triggered the CEL. Time to change the front O2 sensor.

Note to self: Always pull codes before starting a job, even when you are working on an unrelated area.

Thanks for the advice.

Anyone else want to chime in??

If you ran the KOER, you'll get code 67 if the A/C was on.
