i have a 95 SE with 15" 1999se rims on it. i want to upgrade my brake setup and was lookin at 2 choices, the PBR 10.9" dual piston set, or EBC greenstuff pads and rotor with stock caliper. will the 10.9" fit, i believe mine now is a 10.8" setup stock and the caliper clears the rim slightly, i was thinkin about upgrading to 16s eventually, but dont want to go to a 11.6" setup. i do an equal highway/street driving with my car, and havent done any track and am not sure if i ever will.

another car is my mom's 99 taurus se with 4wheel disks. she has 15" rims also. her brakes SUCK, i think its the combo of cheap pads and rotors, they just dont work, even when new, we've bled them, changed everything except master cylinder and lines, and they still are crap. so i was thinkin about upgrading to the ebc setup on that, ive driven a g3 sable with the ebc and was impressed. this car does pretty much all stop/go driving, and her prev brakes have seemed to get glazed easily, so with the lower starting temp of the ebc pads and the rotors, i think it will eliminate it. anyone have any other setups for this car? dont want to go too overboard, but want good stopping.

thanks

The light duty PBR caliper on the same sized rotor on your car now will clear the 15" wheels. I guess they might be a slight upgrade over the calipers you have now.

I believe the brakes on your mother's car are the same as what's on your 95.

I've no experience with EBC pads. I use Carbotechs and am very happy with them.
