Does anyone know the part numbers for the KYB struts for the 98 SHO for the front and rears? Also, is it necessary to get new strut mounts when putting in new struts? Thanks

I looked on the KYB website and it gives that part # but it says "except SHO"
This strut might work but it is probably not the SARC type, it is probably just for a normal Taurus. Which it looks like I will end up putting the non-SARC type on anyway. Thanks for the input.

I am using #334168 in the front and 334169 in the rear, I think that they are listed "Except for SHO" because it is not an exact replacement, I just put mine on yesterday and in the front there is no tab for the ABS sensor wire. So I zip tied it to the strut and in the rear there is an extra tab that I have no idea what is supposed to be there. The do bolt right on though and the ride is awesome. I do believe that I have fallen in love with my SHO all over again.

The KYBs are non-SARC and they physically fit the SHO, but they are a softer strut and will not last as long. And of course they are not semi-active, if that matters to you. Some people don't care, and frankly a new KYB strut is an improvement over a beat-up SARC strut.

I dunno man I have going on 6 years of lowered ride duty and my struts are as strong as when they came out of the box
