Hey all,
Inevitably my wife using our car for commuting has resulted in some rock chips and general paint damage, that also happen to drive me crazy.
The worst is a chip almost touching the windshield that effectively removed a 1/4" chip of paint. I wish it would've gotten the window instead. Really.
Her dedicated commutermobile is forthcoming but for now, I need to get a handle on fixing this.
Car is ruby red but without deciphering the VIN, would anyone happen to 1) know the paint code and 2) share a resource for getting some touch-up paint? I'll go to Ford if I have to but I gotta believe the same product is available online or elsewhere, and for less coin.
