I was just curious if anybody knew a way to cut power to the o/d on/off light inside the cluster without dis-assembling the whole cluster.
The thing is bugging the **** outta me and i want it shut off permanently
Its flashing becuz i did the atx-mtx swap
Any help would be greatly appreciated :thankyou:

hahaha
yeah i know, I am EXTREMELY lazy when it comes to the small stuff like this, what is it, like a total of 8 bolts to get the cluster completely out?
but the big projects like the atx-mtx swap i have no problem in doing
i would probably hop on a clutch job before doing the cluster light
but thats just me

Damn, that's lazy . . . .

You don't even need to remove the instrument cluster. The bulb socket can be remove from the bottom of the cluster while it's still installed, and then you can remove the bulb. You will have to remove the instrument cluster bezel and the upper column shroud . . . .
