I'm an old school hot rodder and recently bought a 2012 SHO. Been reading about the Livernois tuning kits.

Are they simply plug & play? Do I need a lap top to tune?

Thank you for your interest in our products!

No laptop required for tuning but you will need a computer or lap top to transfer the files from email to the device.

Basically, we send the tuner and once you receive it you read the strategy code from the vehicle and email that to us with a list of mods (if any), serial number on the device, and what octane fuel you run. We then send the files to you via email.
