Has anyone tried a 20x9.5+25ET? If so, I'm in a toss up between 285/35ZR20 or 275/40ZR20.

Edit: I may end up having to go with 20×9's; but, all other info, stays the same.

I know people are saying that the +25et will poke; but, I'm already running 20x9.5+32et and I don't think I would mind another 7mm's.

My main concern is with the tires rubbing inside the wheel wells. The tires I currently have are 245/40ZR20; they are, definetly, not wide enough for my liking.

I want to add that I purchased the car with this rim and tire combo.

Thanks for any help, you may have.

Yeah 245/45/20 is too narrow for 20x9 or 9.5. I run a 275/35/20 on a 20x9.5 with 35 offset and if I was going to do it all over again I would go with a 20x10.5 and 285/35/20

Edit actually a 315/35/20 for the 20x10.5. I was thinking of doing 285/35/20 on my 20.9.5’s.

I reached out to monsterservice but haven’t heard anything back yet. They have some decent universal flares, but I’m hoping they can build a custom kit remotely. I found that they have done some remote kits. Doing a 3D scan of the car. I inquired about how much that would cost. E37EA437 D7CE 40FF 8FBF B5A664AE0DAD

Have you tried Battle Aero? They do a lot of stuff like this, too. Maybe even SS Tuning.

Update: I think I'm going to go with 20x10+25et wrapped in 295/40's.

Thoughts?

4.6 sidewall with those 295/40’s. That’s a little bit too much I think. Might rub.
305/35/20 is 4.2 sidewall. 275/40/20 is 4.3. Also 315/35/20 is 4.3 sidewall.

The Max I would go with is 4.3 with that wide of a wheel. Rubbing is more of a concern in the rear over bumps, the rear fender liners dip down into the wheel well....way more than it seems necessary.

Good looking out, brother. I was comparing to stock tires and stock ride height. I think I'll go with the 315/35/20's, so I can stick with the Conti's.

Thanks again!

Man I’m dying to see this! 315’s on a SHO! Yes:evilgrin::omgsho:

I'll post pics as soon as I get them stuffed in the wheel wells. I'm probably going to upgrade to the BC coilovers at the same time incase I need that adjustability.

I've reached out to SS Tuning in the past about my platform, but they said they need to have one in person to do the mock-up. They'd love to do new kits, just need to have the cars locally...and they are in the Ukraine, soooo...kinda hard, lol.
