I don't know how many of you up from Dallas are going to be in SA for but as I posted in the vette-bshing thread there IS an autocross the next day after the run.

And since the SHO is classed in G-stock like the SVTF is....... ;) :D

im going to be there, its just that i dont know if im going to have my clutch done by then. but if i do have it done i will also have my LSD in also, along with-y-pipe w/cats-Moog CC's-tokico's-ALSFB's-Hbrace. also new tires up front. its all going on in one weekend, hopefully. when i get the clutch done, the LSD is going in, along with the y-pipe, front struts and springs, and ALSFB. hopefully dale wont charge me .... that much! i figured out how much all this is going to cost also. 4400 is what i have to work with. lsd=1200+900 clutch and install. that leaves me with 2100. 400 y-pipe, moog CC 140, Tokico struts 480,ALSFB 100, hbrace 70.that all adds up to 1,190. which leaves me with about a grand. i hope that dale dosent charge me to bad considering that all he is going to have to do is exchange the parts when he takes them out. like the ypipe, alsfb, front struts with springs. i could do this myself, but i want to be done by the time the run is, not next year. now all i have to do is just get the money! im waiting on the information from JD for school, so i can pay for it right upfront. the rest of the money is mine. i figured i post the rest of my other post, what should i get?, here so yall could see it and give me advice on it. im still trying to weigh things out. i want a nice performing car, meaning a little bit of everthing, mainly what i listed above. what i mean is, should i just get the new clutch and the LSD, get the new shocks stock monroe sen. and then get the ypipe, alsfb, and the hbrace. i think i would come out fairly cheaper than the other way. but i have noticed that if you do it the cheap way that it will not be worth it in the long run. i need some guidence guys.

Buy my coilovers with the grand you have left...they are WORTH it...

I got a ton of work to do as well..here's the list of what to do tommorrow

1) wake up at 6 a.m. to meet my training partner
2) drop off new rims/tires at discount for mounting/balancing
3) take my hacked up exhaust to the exhaust shop to see if they can reweld it
4) drop off a set of atx headers for jet hot coating
5) get the black powdercoated valve covers cleaned up to swap from the sliver ones
6) get intake torn apart to install Kirk D bbbs and EH runners before the run along with all new gaskets
7) take the car to the dyno to get a/f readings with new 80mm MAF
8) overnight the chip to ted for reflashing before the run
9) drop dead from doing all this work at the last minute!

ITS WORTH IT ALL

Oh, and also bring the car back to the body shop to get the cowl hood buffed and cleared with one more layer...

more to come....\

uhh, hey man ? its 2 weeks til the run, i have work to do on my own car, im working 50 hours a week, and my allergies are kicking my ****...when am i supposed to do your clutch ? my days off this week are Monday and Tuesday. i dont know if ill get any days off next week because im already taking 3 days off for the Run.

i have no problem installing the new parts upon reassembly, but the struts and springs stay in the car when the clutch is done. buy new strut mounts and get the spring on the strut and install the strut mount. then itd be a piece of furpie...but the rears....hmmm..i could go without sleep for a couple days, right ?

like i said, get some money, buy your stuff, then gimme a holler. but please dont expect me to squeeze it in right before the Run.

i hope i dont come off as a *****...perhaps i should have PMed you...but nonetheless, im under a time crunch man...and my full time job ALWAYS comes first.

Mounted my Falkens on the ARE Mace wheels tonight and they look sexy, but even the 96 upgrade looks undersized on that wheel. i can't imagine what a stock rotor would look like... ;)

Well we have the EGT bung welded into the headers, the new jet hot coated headers installed, the 3 gauge a pillar installed and working, and the ypipe installed. Now off to weld the rest of the exhaust in the morning and detail tomorrow afternoon!

Melanie, her good friend Cara, and myself will be pulling in around 10 or so.

The girls are going shopping in San Marcos while daddy plays in the twisties! :****:
