Official One Month Notice to Fall Run

OK so where are the DFW guys meeting to caravan down the SA
for the fall run, what time we heading out, and what route we taking?

Also lets start a list of who's all going to be there.

So far I have

Murphy with 2 cars from Arlington
MikeD in a rental from Azle
Tony's El Toro from Arlington
Chris from Lewisville
Gary Groves from Houston
Sergio from Houston
Dale from Kerrville
Jeremy from Midland
Pam Lee from Corpus
Andrew in his gen3 SHO from the Taurus club Forum. He
already lives in SA so he will meet us at the hotel that morning.

Also everyone go out now and buy 2 sets of batteries for the
radios last year we had a mad dash around SA to find batteries
and some of the radios quit working due to dead batteries. This
year lets all have a spare set with us before we start the run.

note to MikeD: there will be some SLOs there from the Taurus
club that live in the SA area so you and your rental will blend right
in. Also Budget rents Taurus's and Sables If your lucky you can
get a 24valve Sable last Sable I rented from them was a 24valve.

Ordered KYB struts today.......... Count me in. I'll drive up Friday.

I'll be able to meet you gents the night before as last time but I have a big autocross to prepare for that weekend so I'll be out of the run.

If you come in Friday as before there is another car show taking place at I-35 and Topperwein Road ( Biff Busby's parking lot to those that know ) and UNLIKE before, there is a place to sit and eat right there, so no one will get lost this time.

I think it would be really cool to get all the SHOs together at the SHO, a place usually full of later model Mustangs, 'Vettes and classics.

Maybe Tony can share some of his Z06-stomping stories with those Vette folks...

KYBs, eh ? errr, you better catch a ride with someone else . the KYBs will be ok when new, but i recommend upgrading to better struts (Tokico) within 5K miles.

Well sounds like I'm gonna get 5-10k on these kyb's. Can't be worse than the 12 year old factory struts on now. I guess i was sold on a cheap price with free shipping. Look forward to testing them on the run.

I can't wait to try out SHO MEE with the new tokico's and eibachs. Also replacing endlinks/swaybar bushings as well. Also ordered the Buick strut tower brace, should be here soon. Getting some new rubber as well, 225 45 17's and some enkei +5 wheels. Kaching! Like I was told, throw the receipts in a box and forget about it!!!!!

Im gona try to make it out, I live in bergheim north of boerne. Just finished putting my red 91 together. I also just got back from the marlboro racing school and i learned alot and look forward to using the knowledge. Look forward to this one.
