I managed to get the front O2 Sensor off to clean it withought taking the Y-pipe off of my '93 3.2l ATX out after acting like a bit of a contortionist. :thumbs_u:
However now I'm working on the back one, and I cant seem to find anything that will fit in the tiny area where the sensor is located. I tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to get the litle ****** out of there? Or, if I just leave the sensor on there uncleaned will it affect much? (I had been getting the O2 indicate "lean" code).

If you are getting oxygen sensor codes, you need to replace the sensors most likely Cleaning them will probably not help the situation.

As for getting to the rear Oxygen sensor on an ATX, I found that laying on top of the engine and reaching down was the only way to get a wrench on it. I believe I used a box-end wrench that I slipped down over the wiring and onto the sensor.

Its a 22mm open end wrench, there's plenty of room back there.

The rear is doable on an ATX. Lay on top of the engine and get a box end wrench on it.

I ended up doing it on a very very cold day here, Christmas If I remember right. I found myself layin as close as possible to the engine for warmth, which in turn helped me rip that rear sensor out in record time.

Not on an ATX...

I own a '92 and a '93 atx. There's room there, u can fit a 22mm open end wrench that's about 6"-8" long. You just have to move it around a certain way. From the top that is:D.

SHO type U is correct. I was able to do the same thing from underneath on the 94 ATX, with an even longer 10" (give or take) 22mm wrench. The hardest part for me was re-connecting the rear wiring harness.
