Well I decided to go and replace my O2 sensors today. I got the front one out and the new one in there, but the blasted conector for the old one is in a real tight spot. :( I'll try to jimmy it out...

The rear one is whats going to give me the most trouble. All I have to work with right now is a floor jack. headbang Anyone have any tips or tricks to get at that ******* ? I have the special O2 socket to work with....

TIA!!

Agreed...I farted around with mine for a while from the bottom, and then ended up laying facedown across the engine and sticking my arms back in there...there still isn't a lot of room, but it is enough.

Just hope the neighbors don't see sprawled across your engine with your **** in the air!! :D

wow, sweet, I totally f-ed up the old O2 sensor.... trying from the bottom. Should I remove my intake to get at it, or just reach in there as is? :( I don't have a 22mm wrench available..... yet

You should be able to reach in there without removing the intake. FWIW, 7/8" is the actual size if you have that (or even an adjustable wrench) available. Just undo the connector first.

SHOooo I'll give it a go tomorrow. I don't think I have a 7/8, so I guess I'll just buy one.

Ahh the 7/8 wrench helped a lot. I got her done! I used a U joint with an extension to unscrew the old one and put the new one in.

Thanks for the help and support! :D
