Exactly what I was going to say. I bet the grey would match better, maybe.

In person it matches better, ford sh*tty Mocha has about 3 diffrent shades, and the ones on the top of the doors and consoles match the seats almost 100%

on the stock seat back in the gen 2 (JBL equiped), is there anything metal framing left when you pull the rear seat back out to replace with these gen 3 flip and folds?

(can you use the flip down rear seats to get into the trunk?)

Looks good man! I was wondering the same thing. If they are more comfortable then the gen2's. They still have all the controls and etc on the side? Is there any modifcations to mount them in?

Mounting the front is easy, only hard part is the wiring which is not very hard, because just switch everything. Now for the back its not 100% yet, the seat does not move around at all and you can fold it down, but i need a little more time to make it perfect.

Hey looks good! Is the rear gen 3 seat more comfortable than the rear gen 2? I'm not too crazy about the fronts, they're too big for a gen 2 IMO. I've got friends that used to resurface seats and stuff. I'm planning on getting all my seats covered in quality leather. I'd like to switch the back seat though, and this looks good!

The Gen 3 SHO seats don't have inflatable lumbar. There were also 2 different Tan interiors on the Gen 3s. I believe one was Mocha and the other was Saddle. The Saddle was much darker tan if I remember correctly.

Edit: That should say that they don't have inflatable bolsters.

The reson i did these in my fathers car was the fact that he has a very bad back, and the 95 seats were almost to narrow. Now with the G3 seats his back is no longer bothering him after long rides ( his work is 43 miles each way, house in maine 160 each way)

so when you take the stock back seat out, is there metal still criss crossing the area, so you would have to cut it out to make use of split folding rear seats? im sure the metal im seeing on the back of mine is the stock emerald green color of the car...so that makes me think its part of the the body...

I believe the early 1996 had them before the cost cutting started.
