non PP traction control button add on

I was curious if anyone with a non PP sho had added on the traction control switch to disable the advanceTrac? I found a link on another forum that says it can be done with the switch adding a wire between the switch and Interment panel and changing the as build data to recognize the switch input. I'm looking for confirmation that it can be done or not. Tried to use Fords software to check on the as build/programable parameters with no luck so if it can be done it will be a Forscan affair. Well I couldn't find anyone who had done this so i decided to take the plunge and just try it I'm pleased to announce that it does indeed work. Added a wire between the ic and switch you also need to run a ground wire to the switch and you will need a connector for the new switch as there isnt one. Program the instrument panel and abs module. Videos posted in the following link as well as YouTube.
