BAD ROLE MODEL
Nick totally came thru for me today and spent his day off dropping out my subframe and putting in a new clutch kit, flywheel, rear main seal, ALSFBs, and re-enforced motor mounts.
he also sold me my CM1 clutch at a stupidly cheap price, yanked off some useless brackets, and cleaned out my plugwells at the last minute with a very kind offer to assist with replacing the valve cover gaskets and plug well seals and got everything buttoned up and running MUCH MUCH better than when it came in. nick came thru big for me since i need my car to get to work badly.
Tom (offroad sho) was kind enough to provide a lift, any tools we needed, help holding up the subframe when it was time to bolt it back in, and just about any spare part i could ask him for (at a reasonable price). i got a new starter, plug well seals, valve cover gaskets, and transmission fluid. not to mention all the shop rags i used to mop up the old stuff. Tom also offered to run me all the way down to checker to pick up a rear main seal and gasket because i was dumb enough to forget to pick one up :wave:
and last but not least...
JesseMachOne, Jesse provided me with a flywheel, motor mounts, trans mount, subframe bushings, and one more person to fork money over to for SHO parts. he was quick to respond, reasonable and the parts he gave me were all in good shape.
dont worry you three... i'll be back to blow more money on parts i HAVE to have in no time.
