I like the wheel.. just not sure if I like it so much in bronze. I love opening it up and being able to see more rotor and such.

I am trying for the Guiness World Record for "The longest time owning lowering springs without installing them". I think I only have 7 months to go to tie the all-time record zzzzz

I can see that. I like the bronze but a flat black powdercoat is an option.

maybe I just need to have the SHO painted Rally Blue

yeah its funny b/c whereas before I've ignored tightening up the look of the brakes , now its become more pressing. its def. exposed the area :thumb:

What tires are on the chromies??? I mean, obivously they are BFG's... but..??

Cause, @41lbs with the chromies, i'd like to pick up a set as they "look" decent.. but substitute the chromies for the 99wheels which are supposidly 1.5lbs lighter. :naughty:

EDIT:  ah.. BFG KDWS G-Force
hmm... how do you like them?

isnt that too small? 215/60r16 is stock,so to go 225 you'd need 225/55r16..either way,i have a set of 99's on my 91

Hey Chris, I'm definitely liking those wheels better than some of the others you considered. I also like the idea that you had your young children mount them (I know that's what you did!). Lowering must happen ASAP along with caliper beautification. Looking forward to seeing them in person!

thanks everybody :)

Nik I still like your former TR better but I'm diggin the powdercoated blacks on your white SHO, thanks for the links I'll post em soon.

as far as the BFG's, when I bought mine from a local Firestone they grouped KDW/G-Force in the same category, so I've always noted them as KDWS G-sport or G-force or whatever. but it is true if you look it up they are different tires on Tire Rack with distinctively different tread patterns and one is a summer only tire so..... either way, I've really enjoyed them and had no issues with them failing prematurely, ofcourse this car is not tracked so maybe thats the difference.

yeah Curt I figured they passed the wheel test, now their next assignment is lowering and tinting for me. I have the best kids in the universe , they are so talented :p

are you going to the Car Show this weekend or are you working , pm me or cell message if you don't mind sir
