I own a 2015 with 94K miles. This is my third one including the Yamaha 6 cylinder and the V8 model. I was thinking of selling this one because my seat cushion lost its support ( heated and AC) and I’ve had some issues with losing coolant but I decided today to put some money into it and keep it. My reason for joining this forum is to ask for advise on what to invest in besides the seat and coolant. I’ve never flushed the trans nor done anything to the turbos. My locali autozone suggested glass grit blasting to clean the intake valves to help extend the life of the turbos. Any thoughts on this? I heard Mercedes have an electric oil pump that keeps oil flowing to them after the motor is shut down. Has anyone done that and is it necessary. How about changing the timing chains? My understanding is if they aren’t chattering, leave them alone. I’m not looking to juice up the motor, just do some possible overdue maintenance. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the advice. I had never heard of ptu fluid but I see what it is now. I will add that to the list

It can be a pain so do your research and see which makes sense. I would put a drain in it if it was mine. Good luck!
