Here's a question does shonut still have pr1.2 17x8 tims in silver left. I see from his site that they are very light and are in this size.

Well I priced out 225/50/17s on tirerack and discount tire direct. The cheapest tire on tirerack in that size was the Kumoh ASXs, and with shipping the price for the tires went over $400.

The Nittos were the 2nd cheapest tire (in that size) on discount tire direct. The cheapest were H rated Hankook tires. With discount tire direct's free shipping, to me the Nittos were a no brainer @ $380. We'll see how well they handle... :naughty:

O yeah, I think that's why I ended up going to a 215/50/17. Next time I think I'm going to spend a little more and go with a 225/50/17.
