Well, I've had my most recent SHO for a little while now, and it is in dire need of new rear struts and figure I might as well put front ones on as well. Never had to change them on a Gen 1 or 2 before, was just wondering how long it will take put on some new struts on the rear? front? The other bushings seem to be in decent shape, and won't be doing them right away due to time and job constraints. Just trying to determine about how long it will take, and if it is worth it to do it myself and then go get it aligned, or just have Monroe do it.

Well, it only needs to take a couple of hours, but depending on how much trouble you have with rusted fasteners, it could take all weekend...

Ummm... I had to use a torch to heat the knuckle up until it was red, and use a zip gun to split it open far enough for the old strut to pop out. The fronts are easy, especially with quick struts. But the rears can be kind of a pain I think.
