New SHO Source Ownership

Happy New Year from Mike at SHO Source. Along with Kurt and Matt, the three of us started SHO Source 8 years ago. Over the years, we worked hard to gain your trust and provide the best customer service and parts we can. It takes a lot of work to operate SHO Source, and it takes a huge amount of our time. All three of us are long time SHO owners and SHO community supporters, so it made sense to continue with SHO Source even as sales volume decreased due to declining SHO ownership. Recently, we talked about the future of SHO Source. Kurt and I are getting older. Matt has a growing family. Everyone’s SHOs are getting older and there are less and less out there. Although all of us will need to retire at some time, none of us wanted to let down the SHO community, so we came up with a transition plan to pass the torch to the next generation.

In true SHO tradition, I raised a SHO family. My wife has a supercharged 95MTX track car, my daughter has a “rare green” 95 MTX, my son has a “rare green” 94 MTX, and I have a 97 ATX. My son (Ryan) is completely addicted to SHOs, so he and I are running the new SHO Source going forward as of 1/1/17. You may not have noticed the change last night, and that is our goal. It is the same website and products, but it is owned and managed by a new parent company (ICSM Enterprises LLC dba SHO Source for business nerds). We are still calling it SHO Source, and the new SHO Source still is focused on providing excellent customer service and top quality parts. As we complete the transition over the next couple weeks, there will be some issues to overcome, but we are actively working on them.

What will change:
  1. We are a new company: SHO Source LLC still exists, but www.shosource.com is now operated by ICSM Enterprises LLC (you may never see this name, but in case you see it, that is us).
  2. We have new owners: Mike [email protected] (one of the three original owners) and Ryan [email protected] (Mike’s son)
  3. Kurt [email protected] and Matt [email protected] are transitioning back to their personal email addresses. Please direct your email to the [email protected]
  4. New PayPal address [email protected] and new credit card processing system. We are still working on the credit card system, so for a couple weeks we are processing PayPal or credit card through PayPal.
  5. We have a new mailing address and phone number:

What will not change:
  1. Same website address www.shosource.com
  2. Same great service.
  3. Same great products (with more new ones to come this year)
  4. Same [email protected] email address for questions and order updates

Answers to some of your possible questions:
  1. The site currently has the credit card option turned off while we complete the financial transition. You can still purchase with a credit card, but you need to process it through PayPal. The non-PayPal credit card processing will be back in a couple weeks and we will send out an update.
  2. The new SHO Source will continue to track and follow up existing orders. There is no need to worry about an order in process. We will take care of you.
  3. The coil over group buy is moving forward as soon as the business transition completes in January. Customers that have paid or made deposits on coil overs are tracking in the new company.
  4. The new SHO Source has access to the entire old order file, so if you have any warranty issues, we can still help you work with manufacturer’s warranty processes.

My New Years wish is the optimism that is being shown by the markets translates down into optimism in all businesses.
As a daily driver of a 26 year old SHO in a climate that kills off vehicles half that age, I wish Sho Source every success.
If this is the start of another golden age, your timing is impeccable.

ShoSource has been my go to place for SHO specific parts.

Agreed. Mike recently helped me with an issue with my 92 SHO and I ordered me a CCRM and within a few days, I received much quicker than anticipated. I will be purchasing from them in the future. Best service by far
