New SHO LED Lights

How's it going guys. There is a local guy here in kansas city who is fabricating some cool LED parts for certain Fords. Gonna be getting these installed on my white 2013 SHO most likely in white lighting. he currently provides these for the Edge and will be using my car as a demo. we will also be installing an LED conversion for the puddle lights along the side mirrors. Once installed ill take some photos during the day and night to do some comparing. My question is, what do you guys think about color matching the housing around these daytime lights to the color of the car?

Yes sir. why we have the housing to that light off I'm contemplating getting those painted and color matching the vehicle of the car. Hopefully Dan and I can combine some ideas with the type of product that he offers and the type of product that I offer. Lightupyoursign.com is the website for my business. ok ive got a few photos for you guys. of some before and after of the puddle lights as well as the daytime running lights on bottom half of the car. and dont mind the minor damage on the drivers door. some duumy backed into my door the other day







Super bright lights that change colors with the turn signals. even though the camera make the light appear blue they are most definitely white. The only question is, and i wanted to get some opinions about this is, what is the trim around the light was color matched to the vehicle? Also, my SHO came with a gloss black trim around those lights, after putting in some flat black ones i think i actually like those better. if you look at some of the trim around the bottom of the bumper, there is nothing glossy except the grille. let me know what you guys think

These lights are BRIGHT! I like the black surround as it flows with the lower bumper inset trim, but color matching would work also.

You are my new best friend!!! I've been working with Dan for about a year and done business with him. About a YEAR ago he sent my some pics of his demo/prototype for these LED DRL's and had me sign a confidential agreement not to share his innovation. He said I was on his list to buy these the very second they're available - Dan said it would be Summer of 2014. I had emailed him 3 times to get a follow up and he never responded to me!! I was wondering what happened - but VERY glad to see this is still in the works!
When you engage the turn signal is it just the amber lights flashing or does it flash back-and-forth between the amber and white lights? Dan's original setup on the Edge had the turn signals flash amber then white then amber then white. The latest version is just the amber light flashing which I prefer. Please let me know how this setup works. THANK YOU for posting!!! now I'm excited again to get these!
Lastly, on the side mirrors are those just the 5 Watt CREE LED with housings? I bought those from from him about a year ago and love them.

Yeah I don't think there was a new design to those puddle lights but I thought I would post anyways. The led drl`s are super bright but only turn yellow when using the turn signal. They don't alternate colors. The housing or trim is the only thing that still needs some looking into

I think the trim would be great in either flat or gloss black. Both match the other trim. When do you or Dan think these will be available for sale?

Probably in the next 30 days. Few tweaks need to be made. I'm gonna try the flat black and roll with that for a while

Mirrors look great! And I really like the LED lower bumper lights. I always thought they needed to be brighter. Can you provide some pricing? I would definitely consider getting a pair

I've owned a couple Audi's and love the true LED plasma-bar tails - with just the one bar in horizontal orientation. But using the existing SHO lights, maybe get rid of the lights on the inside and top - so the only lights that come on would be the outer vertical lights and the bottom horizontal lights. That might be cool....???
