New SHO guy

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. My name is Taylor Karnes, I am new to the SHO scene. I have a silver 96. I bought it with a bad motor, (cam failure go figure) I should have left the car there, lol. It has been a nightmare to get parts for, but it is finally together and running with a brand spankin new motor. So I guess it was worth it in the long run. I would like to take this opportunity to personally bash Kirk Douchett and NESHO. I ordered parts from him and it took him 13 weeks to send them to me. When I finally got them they weren't what I ordered. So I sent them back to him. He told me I would receive a refund it's been 2 months and I am still waiting. So what a waste of $600.00, thanx for nothing Kirk. Then I found Doug Lewis @ FPS in Georgia and I highly recommend him for all your Ford needs. He fixed my cams and got me all my parts in two weeks. Thanx Doug. Anyways after about 4 months of work my SHO is race ready and I can see what all the hype is about. It's a fun car, not quite as fast as my Pontiac GTP but fast enough for a daily driver. Thank you for your time, and anyone in the souther tier area of NY needing their cams welded stop by I can do it.

I can tell you the Kirk and NESHO have a pretty good reputation around these parts. I'm sure they will make things right for you.

I believe Mr Doucette is a stand up guy and you should settle your bad experiance with him personnaly , not in the open forums , specially not in your first post.

I would LOVE to personally settle my problem with Mr. Douchette, but he dosen't answer e-mails or his phone so I figured if he saw this maybe just maybe he'd do the right thing and settle things with me.

Welcome in! Sorry about your bad experience. I've had something simialar happen to me too. Still working on it, but what can you do?! Anyways where in upstate NY are you? Anywhere near Albany?

Thank you. Sorry about your bad experience too! I live in canaseraga NY. It's about 60 miles south of rochester, a few hours from albany. I live 2 miles away from swain ski center.
