I took delivery on my black 2013 as well! Only 80 miles so far but I am REALLY loving this car!!!! Its killing me to keep my foot out of it!! That reminds me, what kind of break-in are you doing on yours?

It seems like on all my car forums (all domestic makes), MI is over-represented. I am guessing it is the car manufacturing/car culture here. Cars are perhaps more important to us than in some other areas - just a guess.

Metro Detroit area - Saint Clair Shores.

I am at around 500 miles now. I plan on doing an oil change around 1k. I know some people say you don't need to do break in oil changes but I always do them. I was really looking forward to taking it up north last weekend but that didn't pan out. If anyone in Michigan goes up to the area west of traverse city go out of your way to find route 677 between M72 and 31. Its a beautiful and "fun" road to play around on.

What oil do most of you guys use? I've used Mobil 1 on all of my stuff for years but I didn't look to see if Ford recommends something weird.

5-30W I am using Mobil 1 in my EB Brick with good results. Oil with turbos tends to get dirtier quicker in my opinion. Be sure and use a Motorcraft Filter. Something about pressure release variables between filters... I don't exactly understand, but guess it can be important. Rock Auto is cheap source.

Are you sure that Hennessey has the capability at this time to tune the 2013 SHO? The 2013 ECM is not the same as the 2010-2012.

You sir, were correct. They refunded me today. I guess I'll be going with the LMS tune once they finish with the testing.
Aside from the tune they couldn't get me I'm happy with the exhaust (cant go wrong with Corsa) and the intake is louder than other K&Ns I've had but maybe thats due to this being a turbo motor?
I think when I finally get her tuned I'll leave it alone for awhile... need to start saving up for more stuff for the boat.

Torrie @ Unleashed Tuning just posted today that SCT has tunes available for the F-150, which Torrie can custom tune. This means that SCT will likely be able to tune the SHO ECM in the next few months, as the SHO ECM is similar to the F-150 type. Would guess that Livernois will also offer the SCT devices for these vehicles( in addition to the tuner product they are now using for the F-150 & SHO) as they have used SCT products for tuning in the past.

The SHO tuner from Livernois is listed on their website for $599. and will be available, likely by the end of the month. Know they are going to make the 4+ a part of the package.

I put a call in for the Livernois tune. I'm looking forward to hearing from them once they finish their testing.
