Joined today, recently purchased, 2014 with 56K miles, with Performance Package and all stock. Would like to do my own tuning if that's possible... before you jump on me about that idea, had the SCT Pro racer package 20 years ago, and more recently tuned the 4 cylinder Ford variants (DI, Turbo, VVT) with the COBB AccessTuner and AP, and lots of normally aspirated stuff all along the way, more recently Holley EFI with all the schools for both the last two mentioned. Had my own eddy current dyno for years but that's gone for a few now, but perhaps it's just as easy to tune by datalogging and smoothing out rough spots for what I need. Here to learn.

Welcome! Just my .02 these cars can be hard to tune as even some of the tuners that are not SHO experienced struggle at times. I do get some guys love the challenges and enjoy the ride to get there and even more the learning how too. But for the 150.00 or so for a tune by someone who will get you the most out of your car I find it not worth the potential loss of motor parts worth the battle. Some basic parts needed are plugs and 3 bar map, some do a cooler T stat but not needed along with a SCT or HP tuners. Good luck with your choices and if you go at it on your own don't be shy and put up some fun info.
