Hello all.

My name is Gary and I finally bought my first SHO today.

I test drove a new SHO back in 91 when I was 18 years old and fell in love. I didn't have the means at the time and have wondered what might have been ever since. After living life driving trucks for work for years I finally started buying a few cars that I've alwys wanted. Started with a 2007 Mustang GT, then a 96 Bronco, 91 Mustang LX 5.0, a 2010 Raptor, a 2000 Cobra R, and finally a new SHO. I love all my cars and love to drive them and this SHO is no exception.

Look forward to learning about my new car here. She's got all options excepting performance package and no Nav. BTW she's a 2010 red candy. Crappy cell phone pic below...

How far are you from Goliad? I would love to see what some of your toys run in the Standing Mile! Impressive collection, thanks for sharing!

I'm only 30 minutes from Berclair where the airfield is and I've never been to the Texas Mile. I've been trying to go for at least 3 years both spring and fall and executing there's something that keeps me from going like work or family. Now it's just getting too big. The R is supposed to do 175 but I'm not sure if it would reach that in a mile ane the black GT would be quick but I'm not sure about the top end speed because of the 4.10 gears.

But thank you for the compliments.

Raptor does 103. It's got a governor because thats all the tires are rated for.

I like Fords. What can I say.

Some families are Mopar, some are Bowtie, and some are imports. I was raised Ford.

I gotta say though it all started with a magazine article about a new Ford Taurus with a motor from Yamaha and an insane at the time hp per liter. Followed by a test drive a couple of years later and from then on I was hooked!
