Welcome.
Two questions.
One, how long is that thing (tailpipe)
Two, do you hit a lot of shit backing up?

Fyi
Three is not a book in print that has the amout of information about the sho , then you will find here on this forum and from it's members.
If you notice no one said .....that will look ********, don't do that to your car. Rims and tires are a frequently talked about topic because there are limited options for our cars. Don't be so quick to dismiss what is said regarding the problems that you will have wile trying to achieve the look that you are going for.

Oh and as far as people hating you because you have a diffrent style, rember we all spend thousands of dollars on twenty some odd year old tauruses . Most people think I'm crazy.

This is a great group to belong to.
Once again, welcome to the land of misfit toys.

im here to say that ive been up and down this place, as well as other places. all that info is on stuff that really doesnt matter to me. like widest wheel? 7.5 or 8? really...yea there are those 17x9s...but those tires.

its a completely different game. ive observed this scene before i jumped in for a good 2 years. you all seem to think in the old way of thinking. like "what company should we go with for a group buy on suspension?" or "does someone make wheels for us?"

welcome to the new way of thinking. its not even called thinking outside the box. its more.

this is why the sho scene never progresses. closed mindedness

You have your opinion. People have done all kinds of things with these cars from the salt flats, dune buggies, drag set-ups, track cars and show cars. I don't think that is closed minded. We were happy with what we were doing before you came along. Wait we are still happy.

Being closed minded is completely different from not wanting our cars to ride like complete shit and not be able to use them for anything other then cruising the to the mall parking lot to "pick up *******".

Do you really believe that what you're doing is progressive just because nobody else is wants to do it?

That sounds like the current political landscape LOL

Hate to tell you man, but you fail at Bosozoku... How about from right here in Alabama...

And if you think Gen 1's have a fistable gap stock, then you sir have small hands, and what does THAT say about you? I'll put it to you like this... My silver one is stock, the Red one has Eibach/Tociko... BOTH are close to the lip, the red one damn near scrubs, and I'm running stock size tires.

Me personally, I think what your doing is unoriginal... That look has been out now for a while... Not as bad as the millions of Civic folks, but unoriginal nonetheless. Looks much better on Vdubs and beemers IMHO.

And as for performance... my red car will stay on the ass of G35's in canyons...Just something to think about. Maybe not THAT impressive, but if you saw the way folks drive their G35's around here....

And I wonder if ya'll bash the performance of this car... because ya'll are bad drivers? Just a theory... Don't get me wrong, I completely understand the desire to be different, we're just telling you that those ends would've been better served with a different platform... ****, a Gen 2 or later would've been a better choice... Sam can run combo's us Gen 1 owners can only drool at...
