New car 2014-2016 sho

Hello, new to this form. I'm looking to buy a sho 2014 thru 2016. Is there any major changes in the years. Or what's a good year to go with. Plan to upgrade, what's good mod to start with. Thanks again with any help.

Hey welcome. I believe 2016 is the earliest year that has the new Ford infotainment system that enables use of Android Auto/Apple Carplay. Other than that I don't think there are any big differences between the model years but some more knowledgeable folks might chime in.

The newer the better, generally. Low mileage is not necessarily an indication of a good buy unless you have detailed service records accompanying. These cars like to be driven, do not like to sit or putter in stopngo traffic all day long
Always check TSBs and recalls for the vehicle you choose. Recalls and CSPs are classified as Field Service Actions on the owner.ford.com website. Check by VIN.

Yes, 2016 is the first year of SYNC3 in the Taurus and version 2.2 or higher supports car play.

2016 was the last year for massaging seats and the first year for sync 3. So if I were in the market today I would look for a low mileage 2016.
