2015 Ford Taurus SHO non PP…what is the best tire that won’t break the bank but ain’t a cheap tire something for 30,000 miles and a soft tread. I was advised to get that!!
You can check out TireRack.com for comparisons. I was looking for very good overall performance (for my AWD Subaru STI) with extra good rain performance, and I have been using Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate $258 for your stock size. Slightly better than the DWS 06+, $251, in the areas I was looking at, though I don't have any 60' times for comparison. Slightly worse in snow but I don't see snow. They are cheaper than the Michelins, $281, but not as low as the fairly well-rated General G-MAX AS-05 which are currently ~$207 in your size range. About all of the ultra high performance all seasons are rated at treadwear of 500 to 560, but if you use your HP a lot or drive hard then figure a lot less than 50,000 miles.
If you go for having separate winter tires, then you can expand your category search to include Summer tires which are not as flexible as all seasons but usually have somewhat higher traction in warmer temps.
Tire tech improves every year. Tires which are recent model changes will almost always have advantages over older ones.

The Goodyear you listed is 2lbs heavier per tire than the Continentals in the same size

EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS - SIZE: 275/40ZR20

So if you're looking for 60' I'd lean towards the Conti's, as a matter of fact once I go through my set I have on now, I will be ordering those next time.

There are a lot of people that love them on this site, unless they are running a dedicated track tire, these seem to out 60' most anything else in a street tire category that aren't absolutely scary in the rain.

I will try to summon @SM105K to get you real world info. :D

I have a couple of years on them and I beat on my SHO all the time. I just replaced the fronts. Long story story short my alignment was off and it wore out the inner edges pretty back. However, they did have 34k miles on them and lived most of their lives with my SHO making roughly 500 ft of tq. Since then I have had the front re-aligned to the PI spec and now my SHO is worlds better. I have cut a 1.77 sixty foot on the Conti WWS 06 in a 245 series as well.

Great tire.
