NEW 2014 SHO owner. Looking for upgrade advice

Hey there guys I'm Rob. I just bought my 2014 SHO. Let me just say it has been my best car purchase yet. It feels like it should have some more power behind it tho. But I still have a bumper to bumper warranty, so I don't wanna change anything that may void it. Any help?

A tune and a dropin K&N filter can net you some nice gains while you wait for the warranty to run out. If you are willing to feed the SHO quality 93 fuel, you can expect solid results.

The SHO has 2 of these MAP sensors. The one we are concerned with sits atop the intake manifold, and in your MY, probably held down by a single screw. That one is a 2 bar MAP, meaning it reads up to 14.7 lbs of boost. A 3 bar MAP will read a theoretical 29.4 lbs of boost, but is used for better control than a 2 bar MAP can provide.

-Welcome, I am still sitting on the upgrade fence myself, mostly because I promised myself I wold fix my Mustang before I spend more money on the SHO. Most anything you want to know you can find by reading through the threads here and on other ecogoost, good luck I think your going to enjoy your new car.

Well, technically any mod can void your warranty. But a simple tune 3bar map will make you quite happy. And offer ease of going back to stock for dealer visits if you choose. Also definitely get a start on a good maintenance routine. Especially a trans fluid change and ptu fluid

This, I got my SHO recently as well and haven't tuned yet but will be very soon. I would stress that any tune can possibly void the warranty. While flashing back to stock(along with changing the MAP if you go with the 3-bar) will lessen the chance, Ford can still tell the ECU was flashed. The odds of anyone going through the trouble is relatively low for most issues but catistrophic failure resulting in a large warranty repair cost can bring unwanted attention to anything Ford can use to void you. Just be aware and don't have things like tuner stickers or license plate frames on the car when you bring it in.
