NEW 2010 SHO for sale...

Looks like there is a new SHO for sale on Ebay. Some dealer up in MD has the SHO only green color listed. Too bad he doesnt have any pics of the actual car. You guys think its legit since most folks, myself included, have asked and was told the SHO wouldn't be available until later this summer is what the word is.

Thats odd, we have three sho's on showroom floors in the metro. I have personally seen two of them, and they were at the same dealer. They have had the new body Taurus for over a month now.

i asked at a Richmond ford dealer and i was told that they wouldnt have them nor any ford dealer in the area would have them either untill mid to late august.

its listed on their website, but both the site and ebay say the color is green but teh pic they have is a default pic in silver

i say they prolly dont have the car yet and r just cin what kind of interest there would b in it

That price shown is also a joke; gee, I can be the first on my block to have one and pay $8-10k more for the privelage than if I just wait a month or two. Dealers are already marking down the MKS to around $35k.

I have the same pictures they do of that 2010... so I'm not convinced I am very anxious to drive one tho.. I checked the Ford lots on my way home from work the other day.... still waiting..

This dealer is trying to pre-sell this SHO before it shows up in their inventory. I've seen this before with GT500's and GT's when they first came out. I just ran an OASIS Report on the VIN and it is a valid 2010 SHO that was built in Chicago on July 20th. It doesn't confirm the color however, but I have no reason to believe the dealer would lie about that if they already ordered it.

Now I'm 99.9% sure no dealers have a salable 2010 Taurus in their inventories yet. Ford's been touring around, showing off the 2010 Taurii at dealers with pre-production models on M plates that may appear to be dealer inventory in the showroom, but as far as I know, none have been shipped from the plant for sale just yet. They are still making sure all of the production bugs have been worked out before people take delivery of their new "flagship".
