Hello,
I have a 95 MTX and I was cleaning my rims the other night and I noticed that the entire inside of my passenger side front rim was covered in grease, also there was some on the plastic in the wheelwell....also I hear constant chriping like something metal is rubbing against something everytime the wheel turns around, and when I stop it makes for clicking sounds....dispite having new front pads, rotors and calipers with in 2k miles......I have owned an 93 ATX for 2 years and never experienced thiis.....I have searched and it sounds like maybe a cv joint? Please help me....
THANKS

Sounds like your halfshaft is going out. It sounds like your boot is torn and flinging the grease everywhere, and the clicking is the sound the joints make when they are going out. Look back behind the wheel, you should see a torn boot on the CV joint. Some more people will chime in with more knowledge to help you replace it, but sounds like that is the problem.

Sure sounds like the outer CV is going and a torn boot is letting the grease out. This should be fairly easy to spot if you can look behind the wheel, i.e., pull the tire and wheel off and take a peak in there.

If you're a bit mechanically inclined they're not that hard to change, especially on the passenger side.
