Since he is not data logging the ECT, it will default to 0F. If here were to switch to the digital dash, it would read 0.

Normally the SHO runs pretty rich on the top end especially. What do your karmfs look like when your not on the gas to much? Is the MAF dirty? Or aftermarket?

Majority of the time the KAMRF during CL are around 1.004-1.023, which means its adding fuel long term, right? the LAMBSE values are around 14.4-15.1, the HEGO's arrows are always constantly consistent between red and blue .1-.8.

MAF is stock, I'll take a look at the MAF wire condition.

Set your fuel for the AF you want to see at WOT then adjust the MAF tables to get the correct real time AF number.

Are you talking about adjusting the MAF curve? Also whats an easy way to clear KAM w/o disconnecting the battery?

Yes adjust the MAF curve. If it is reading lean take away air if it's reading rich add air.

I suppose you could find the PCM fuse and pull it.

Although you'll need to adjust your MAF curve, that should be VERY slight. Work on injector slopes FIRST. After you are close, you can use the EEC Analyzer to help dial in the MAF.

Yes I suppose that's the TwEECer theory. But that 's the exact opposite of the SCT tuning logic. You would think the manufacturers have the injector slope logic pretty close from the factory with stock FIs. But there are many things that will affect the MAF curve.

I'm gonna leave it as stock because adjusting the scalars makes it run rich on idle. Adjusting the MAF seems to be better but I mainly wanted to know why its running lean on WOT, could be the exhaust, could be a bad MAF?

It's been my experience that that any changes to the pre-MAF intake or 'opening' the exhaust will cause lean mixtures at WOT. An minor exhaust leak will give you a lean reading from a WB but should not affect the actual AF mix at WOT unless it is a major leak; if you have a stock exhaust.

It wont be running anything but the 14.5:1 at idle unless your in open loop. Your car will adjust to this. You will see it with your karmfs. It it is running rich at idle it will be pulling fuel and you will see it.

Yes, youre KAMRF's will dip below 1 when fuel is being pulled. At the same time, you'll see LAMBSE command a leaner mix until the appropiate KAMRF's are found.
