Need new corner light set

Hi all,

I um, uh...had an accident.

Avoiding one car I hit another. But almost missed it. I just barely clipped the corner of a minivan with the driver side front corner.

Anyway, this weekend I fixed the damage to the skirt, I got the headlight array back in and fixed all broken plastic, and I got the front fender bent back out to within a 1/4", and aligned the whole quarter panel so my driver door opens once again.

The left corner light assembly took it right in the shorts though, I could not repair this. Too many pieces. So I went shopping for this item. Nothing local, then I jumped on Ebay. I found both procarparts.com and makotoautotrends.com. I tried to order from both websites, but they will NOT ship to anything other than billing address. Even if I try to use Paypal. BTW: Are these the same company? Both in Cali, both have the same website, only the look is a bit different. And their policy is nearly identical. What's up with that?

Anyway, I got so fed up I now don't want to buy from either company. Where can a get replacement units? Price? How fast? And are there alternate units that fit? I saw mention when digging in the threads that the sable assembly fits. Can anyone confirm?

If you look at sables of the same age they are the exact same. Also there is a company on ebay that sells clear corners as well if you like that kind of thing. But there should be a supply of them around. Maybe you should post a WTB in the WTB section of this forum?

Okay, thanks Marcel.

The deal is I want to get a replacement ASAP. If a car is in good condition generally traffic cops tend to ignore you. I'll see if there are any '92 Sable corners around.

Otherwise I will order from off of Ebay. I found some corners for around $20-$30.

BTW the clears are from procarparts and makoto. But I am thinking they are the same company. I would go with clears if they could get them to me Tuesday. But with their stringent shipping rules the heck with that.

BAM!!

Found a corner off of an old '94 Sable at the local U-Pull-it for five bucks. Dropped it in, good to go. They are the exact same part. Even marked Ford.
