I haven't gotten to seeing what's up with my motor and that valve yet but I know I need to get the damn water out of my motor because it's going to hit freezing in a week or so. How do I flush out the system without running the car. My pops just pulled out a 310 gallon per/hr transfer pump which kinda scares me beings the helms says to avoid a certain pressure level. Should I be safe as long as the cap is off? Can I use this to pressure flush the entire system? Where do I introduce the flow? My thoughts are to take out the 2 engine drain plugs which I haven't heard about until reading the forum for info and don't know exactly where they are. I don't see their location listed in the helms. Is it in there? I imagine I should also drain as much with the radiator drain plug as well. Will lifting the car up in the rear help get everything out or are the plugs in strategic locations that make this not matter? I've read that the hose should be introduced into the top of the radiator and let flow out the bottom. What about all the stuff that can be throughout the rest of the system. I think it would be safe to introduce the flushing in the heater core outlet hose and collect the debris from the inlet hose, or are those hoses too small? What's the best way to make sure I dont' screw this up?

Drain all the water out the engine and radiator using the drain plugs in the block.

Disconnect the water line that is on the front side of the IAC.

Using a small funnel fill the small water hose from the IAC with 50/50 mix until it runs out the radiator opening the color you are pouring in.

Done... I don't have the throttle body/manifold on so coolant started shooting out of 1 of the lines to the throttle body. The radiator looked full at that point. Thanks.
