Ok so I have a UPR can going on a ‘14. I’ve had it for way too long uninstalled now but better late then never I guess. Came with zero instructions and pictures are only getting me so far. I’m assuming I have everything going to the correct place but I’m defeated by the placement of the wot to oil cap to can line. How I have it now I’m pretty sure isn’t right but it’s the only way I could get it to fit at the oil cap. Which, only really points one direction while put on with the engine cover. Also, reassure me the rest is correct, top of the can to back valve cover, clean side to behind the throttle body. (check valve towards can) Thanks in advance for any help or tips.

Upr has an ok set of instructions on there site. As it sits right now, I think you're correct.

Thanks guys, I had those from UPR I was just a little unsure being that those are for 2016 and up and the intake tube placement is different. I can rebuild a 390, but these modern motors still confuse me.

ah, maybe I’m not so dumb. UPR had the fittings installed backwards. I thought the flow from the check should go from right side of can to intake. The instructions say the arrow on the check valve should point to intake. I had it backwards because those two fittings are different and can only go to one place. I called UPR to confirm and the line they sent was installed with the fittings on the wrong end. Fortunately they are not crimped and just hose barbs so I just pulled them out and switched the fittings around. Should be all good now.

A little birdie told me if you point the WOT hose arrow the wrong way you will send smoke out the exhaust like James Bond, which is okay if you're dusting a WRX.....

Those birdies sometimes know what they are talking about......sometimes.

Really, that’s a thing? I just went for a quick romp after I put it on like that and noticed a slight hesitation a couple times on acceleration.

It is, different cars respond different.
