Ok, so I just bought a 1993 sho this afternoon. Heres the problem....when I arrived at this guys house he forgot to mention the car needed a battery so I went to sears and bought a die hard silver...was like $84 and change. So when I left his house the battery light was on. Can this be the positive cable is cut or lose connection? I don't think its a lose connection because it starts up every time without hesitating. Any feedback would be great!

The car has high miles on it 180k

Where can I find used seats?

The car has a dynomax exhaust, is that decent or should I get a better one?

Will oil in the spark plug seals cause the car to skip when revving?
(sorry for all the ?'s guys or girls)

Check your batt cable, my positive was loose and id get an intermittant battery light. It would flicker on and off. I tightened it up and the problem went away. If your cables arent loose plan on an alternator.

If the plug on top of the alternator is loose, it can cause a battery light. Check voltage with the car running to see if it is correct.

Go to the junkyard or Classifieds section of this forim for seats.

The Dynomax will probably fall apart on you eventually.

Oil in the plug wells can cause problems running.

Check the battery voltage when the engine is running - voltage over about 14.6 will cause the battery light to be on as well as voltage under about 13.5. both are bad for the system and your battery.

Over charging is an issue with the alternators on these cars also.
Alot of failing alternators are do to the voltage regulator craping out thus allowing too much voltage output, very bad for you battery.
