need help removing window glass

[Huntervf]

I want to replace the drivers front door glass...I pretty much tore apart my parts car trying to get the glass out...I ended up drilling out rivets & basically loosening the entire window motor. It can't be THAT hard...anyone know another, simpler procedure?

I know you have to drill the rivets out but not sure about the window motor.
