New to the forum. Joined for tuning insight but have bigger problems now. Just bought a 16 sho. 63000 miles on it. Ive had it for about a month. Ive been getting fresh fluids put in it just because im not sure about maintenance before i had it. Ptu fliud trans fluid ect. Well i just changed the oil yesterday just because im not sure what kind of crap oil the dealership put in it. After draining i noticed small metal flakes in the drain pan. Pretty disappointed to say the least. I purchased a pretty good warranty with the car and it also came with a lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealer which im sure theyll find any reason they can to not honor that. Anyway has anyone experienced this on there EcoBoost 3.5? The engine runs fine. Has the normal tick like all these engines do but seems pretty sound to me. Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd just send some off to Blackstone labs to have them check for you. I do mine every oil change. Did you keep the filter? if so cut it open and look at it. I've got 180k on my 2013 SHO and haven't experienced that. But it may not be anything but normal wear, they'll be able to tell you exactly what it is. Blackstone Laboratories (blackstone-labs.com)
