Hello to all!,
My name is Kyle and I Lived In NC. originally, (except for when i attend college...) I am now currently working on a second degree back up here in NY.
Where do i begin?....well..My first car back in High School just so happened to be a black 1989 Ford Taurus SHO late model year.("Premium Fuel Recommended") Needless to say the car was super fast! As a kid in high school the car was a typical high school students first time car in its condition. Mechanically the car could go 1 million miles!, atheistically the car was in desperate need of a paint job but, "who cared the car FLEW!..just like a Yamaha sport bike" and nobody was interested in looks during those days. So, .......two years after high school I went to college in NY. where i stayed w/ a grand parent. Through college I was broke and had no money to work on the car and the car sat for the next couple of years...having been used very little; so my grand parents made me get rid of her. In high school i wasn't yet familiar w/ the internet and many websites, if any websites.....were just starting up, before there were even any 'SHO' forums!
Now the year is 2008, had a good job and saved some money but, i am now back in school once again, got my own place and so rewarded myself with a prestigious new age classic 1989 Ford Taurus SHO(black Also!)(First Year original!!!) The car will remain garage kept here and I now have my baby whom which I had planned to restore to a like similar condition, is now back in my position where she will receive plenty of TLC!!! It is good to see so many people interested in keeping the SHO alive and w/ possibly maybe even the intent for it to become one day, hopefully, a classic... if all goes well.
THANKS AGAIN For letting me post a little bit about myself!
Everyone here seems like a very warm and inviting community of 'SHO' enthusiasts!
I Hope to learn all i can about the car i love so much and maybe even make some friends along the way.
