Hey guys, i just did a 60k and after "gettn the new feel"
of my sho. i noticed smoke coming from my hood, and my oil light flickering, then ON. when i got home i discovered oil dripping onto my back cat, i decided to just pour another quart in since my oil was low, and just run it a few more days. till i could find out where the leak is from.

About a week has past, and ive put about 3 quarts total into my show, (afraid of running out of oil) now the leak seems to be much worse (so is the smoking), and my oil level is about 2 inches past the full line on the dipstick! could too much oil be a bad thing?

where is it common for there to be oil leaking? in relations to the dripping on the cats, and coating the pas. "frame arms" :bonk:

Yes its very bad to have too much oil in there. Get some out of there. Remove the filter drain it and reinstall it a few times. Or just drain it all out. It could be a a few places. The rear valve cover cam seals of a front main seal. You will have to do a inspection to be sure.
