The mtx front springs on an atx car will result in a drop of 0.75" - 1.00" depending on exactly which springs you have and exactly which options the car has.

If you look through the data posted in this thread:

http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=96714

at least the 93 ATXs seemed to have similar load ratings to their MTX couterparts. Might be a with sunroof/not thing.

If anyone reads this and owns a 94 MTX then please contribute to the thread with data from your door jamb (or actual spring codes).

Here's a little pictorial help - the first is a 94 atx, loaded, w/ stock springs:

The second is a 95 atx -> mtx conversion, loaded, that still has the stock atx springs (the same spring code as the white 94 pictured above) both cars are equipped the same except the 95 is now a mtx.

I don't have the comparable photos on the same car, because the 95 mtx conversion now has Tokico/Eibach suspension parts on it, and I didn't think to shoot a photo before I pulled out the old engine/trans, but the car after the mtx conversion sat nearly 1" higher than before on the atx springs (and compared to my 2 other atx cars which have the identical spring codes).
