Hi,
(92' MTX)
I "changed" my transmission fluid earlier today, and to drain the fluid, I pulled the shift interlock bolt. Afterwards (of course) I read about that bolt's importance and that I probably should have used a siphon to remove the fluid. I didn't move anything while the bolt was out (luckily) but is there a chance that the interlock lowered at all or would I know it if it did? The car drives fine after adding 2 and some quarts of Pennzoil Syncromesh. Also, is it harmful to have a mixture of automatic dexron transmission fluid and Synchromesh in the MTX? Thanks in advance.
