I have a dynomax resonator pipe on my ATX to MTX conversion (rod shifter). For awhile the resonator has been making a really horrible buzzing sound that's very prevalent at 2k rpm (metal to metal noise, not exhaust noice), so I assume something has broken loose inside of it.

I was considering getting a glass pack and welding it in place of the resonator. Any ideas what would work? I came across these:

I really just need to get up under there with a tape measure and caliper and check the dimensions.. I guess the question is, what would you get? I have stock rear mufflers and a magnaflow catted y-pipe. Do those glass packs hold up pretty well?

Thanks,
Nate
