Since I'm replacing the motor mounts on the sho should I also replace the trans mount. Is it any harder to put in, and are there any benefits to replacing it? Is there a risk of damaging the trans?

My philosophy and personal opinion on the trans mount (any mount) is that if it ain't broke...don't fix it unless you're replacing them all with reinforced mounts. It is harder to put in with a lot more involved. I'm sure there is some risk of damaging the trans if the mount isn't replaced properly.

(All strictly my opinions only)

I think you need to use like a cherry picker if yuor doing all 3. If you just do the front, all you have to do is jack the engine up so you can lift it out, you can go to shotimes.com, they have directions. I 100% agree with bizzy, if its not broken, dont fix it...

of all the mounts, the MTX mount is the easiest. You have 4 bolts and 2 nuts, and it just slides forward to remove, and just do it backward to install. I recommend thoroughly checking the MTX mount while replacing the other motor mounts, because a worn MTX mount can actually cause the broken motor mounts that you are replacing! It took me about 20 minutes to do the replacement. All you need is a floor jack, a small piece of wood, a phillips screwdriver, 15mm socket and ratchet, and some needle nose pliers.
